About the Presenter
Dianna Abilmona is a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Human Resources professional. A Northern Virginia native, she attended Marymount University. After graduation, it became clear to her—and others—that her spirit and skills shined when she connected with people and helped individuals. This realization translated into a long and successful career in Human Resources, where she worked across industries, from international hospitality brands to the renowned home furnishings company IKEA.
At IKEA, Dianna held the role of People and Culture Manager, overseeing the entire Human Resources division. She used basic coaching skills to enhance employee development, improve performance, and support various HR functions, such as conflict resolution and communication. She also became very familiar with burnout and stress and their impact on personal and professional performance.
Committed to enhancing her expertise through direct education, Dianna completed a Health & Wellness Coaching Certification from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and is a National Board Certified Coach through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaches. Her next step is becoming an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
