# The Women's Center > The Women's Center is a nonprofit counseling center serving the greater Washington, DC metro area, with offices in Vienna, Virginia and Washington, DC. It provides affordable mental health counseling to everyone, including women, men, teens, children, and families. The Center accepts all major insurance carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offers reduced-fee and sliding-scale rates for those paying out of pocket, so cost is never a barrier to care. The Women's Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 23-7423496) founded in 1974. Care begins with an intake assessment that matches each client with the right therapist. Appointments are available in person at either office or by secure video (telehealth), including evening hours at both offices and Saturday hours in Vienna. The Women's Center offers reduced-fee and sliding-scale counseling so that cost is never a barrier to care. For clients paying out of pocket, reduced-fee sessions range from $5 to $61 per session. Your fee is set during the intake process, and staff work with every client to find the most affordable option. ### Do you accept insurance? Yes.
