Our goal is to review some of these basics – to help you learn how to make smart\, informed decisions about how to invest for your future. We will explain the different investment choices you have and review some of the key factors to consider as you choose your investments as well as some ways to manage your investments. The financial decisions you make now can have a considerable impact towards pursuing the lifestyle you envision. \nPLEASE NOTE: WORKSHOP IS IN PERSON AT THE WOMENS CENTER IN VIENNA\, VA \nPresented by Michael Reyes CRPC and Catherine Portner \nCatherine “Cat” Portner is on a mission to ensure that women and girls invest in themselves\, their futures and communities. She transforms financial fears into hope and ultimately\, joy by delivering holistic strategies with sincere personal attention. She previously owned Portner Brewhouse\, a brewery restaurant\, inspired by her great-great grandfather’s pre-Prohibition brewery\, both located in Alexandria\, VA. In 2016\, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce named Catherine a 40 Under 40 business leader. She holds a MBA from Babson College in Wellesley\, MA and B.S. in Biology from Boston College. Catherine strives to make time for practicing tai chi\, travel and spending time with her 18 month old daughter\, Josephine\, and fantastic partner\, Keiron in Reston\, VA. \nMichael measures success by the relationships he has with clients and the outcomes they enjoy.
