DESCRIPTION:The divorce and separation is done….now what? How do you navigate with friends\, family\, holidays and life? How do you reclaim your story and reconnect with your identity? Every life change promotes resilience and confidence with each challenge. \nLearn how to find meaning in a new life chapter by visualizing the future and developing self-care goals. \nAbout the Presenters: \nJulia Decker is a therapist-intern at The Women’s Center where she provides counseling to couples and individuals. She will receive her Masters of Social Work from George Mason University in Spring ‘26. Previous to working at The Women’s Center\, Julia interned at the VHC Health where she led and co-led behavioral health intensive outpatient groups and provided individual mental health counseling. Julia is a trained yoga teacher and has a background in drama. \nSnehal Srivastava is a therapist-intern at The Women’s Center where she provides counseling and career services to individuals. She will receive her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University in Spring ‘26. Before the Women’s Center Snehal worked at A Mission for Michael as a psychiatric technician for patients with addiction and acute mental health disorders. Snehal is an avid reader and enjoys running and nature in her free time.

DESCRIPTION:This informative session will tackle many of the issues when making a career transition whether changing roles\, re-entering the workforce\, early retirement or changing careers. \nParticipants will enhance their job search strategies through effective networking and mastering job search techniques. \nOther topics will include resume & cover letter development\, interview preparation as well as aligning your financial goals with a new path and maintaining a healthy cashflow during a period of change. Retirement plans – old and new – will be discussed. \nThe session will look at fostering resilience and adaptability to adapt to new work environments. \nAbout the Presenters \nMitra Gholam started Alira Consulting\, an executive and leadership consulting firm\, in February 2023 to help others reach their career and business goals and objectives. She is a licensed Executive and Leadership Coach by the Academy of Executive Coaching based in London\, UK and has a global certification through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Additionally\, she provides consulting services for individuals and companies looking to solve business problems. \nAdditional professional work experience has been in Human Resources\, Accounting\, Budget and Finance\, Business Management and Operations\, Change Management\, Strategy and Sales and Marketing. \nFrancesca LeFrancois is a dedicated financial advisor concentrated on guiding individuals and families toward their financial goals. Passionate about empowering others\, she focuses on creating personalized strategies that foster financial literacy and security.
