DESCRIPTION:This workshop introduces the philosophy behind acupuncture and holistic medicine\, emphasizing the integrated healthcare model. Drawing from ancient traditions and modern integrative practices\, we’ll explore how a mind-body-spirit approach to medicine can support balance and overall well-being. Participants will explore current theories on how acupuncture may influence the body\, and gain insight into how an integrative model encourages a more connected view of health. \nAbout the Presenter \nDr. Haley Parker is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and Director of Clinical Operations at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine\, where she leads clinical education across multiple campuses and develops outreach programs to serve underserved communities and support student growth. She is a licensed Executive and Leadership Coach by the Academy of Executive Coaching based in London\, UK and has a global certification through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Additionally\, she provides consulting services for individuals and companies looking to solve business problems. \nMitra’s work experience includes over 20 years of working with small business owners with annual revenues over $5 million dollars and as a business manager with a Fortune 1000 Company.
