DESCRIPTION:Stress is defined as the feeling of mental or emotional or physical strain/tension. It can come from many sources such as demanding circumstances\, positive/negative challenges or just plain frustration. Everyone has experienced stress at some point in their life. Stress can be short lived or chronic. Some people do not even realize that they are stressed until health issues occur. \nJoin this workshop to learn what stress is and what stress isn’t. Learn strategies to prevent and manage stress symptoms. How well are you managing your stress? \nPLEASE NOTE: This workshop is on ZOOM. The Zoom link is in the confirmation email. \nAbout the Presenter \nDianna Abilmona is a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Human Resources professional. A Northern Virginia native\, she attended Marymount University. After graduation\, it became clear to her—and others—that her spirit and skills shined when she connected with people and helped individuals. This realization translated into a long and successful career in Human Resources\, where she worked across industries\, from international hospitality brands to the renowned home furnishings company IKEA. \nAt IKEA\, Dianna held the role of People and Culture Manager\, overseeing the entire Human Resources division. She used basic coaching skills to enhance employee development\, improve performance\, and support various HR functions\, such as conflict resolution and communication. Her next step is becoming an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
