DESCRIPTION:The Holiday season can be overwhelming and costly. According to NerdWallet\, the National Retail Federation has estimated Americans can spend $1\,000 on average for holiday related purchases and that does not include travel. Giving the perfect gift or cooking a holiday meal or trimming the tree can add up in expenses. Planning now will help alleviate undue stress and the financial reckoning to come. Developing a budget for anticipated expenses\, tracking your spending and research are a few of the strategies you can use. Join the workshop to learn other methods to cure debt hangover and keep financial stability through the season. \nAbout the Presenter \nSusan Shields is a Senior Partner at Shields\, Abate\, Searle and Associates. As a practicing Certified Financial Planner and Certified Investment Management Analyst\, she offers clients comprehensive management and advice related to all of their investments.
