DESCRIPTION:The pelvic floor is an internal muscle group that supports the pelvic organs in women and men. Damage or trauma can result in the weakening of these muscles\, lessening the support needed causing other conditions such as pain and incontinence. Therapy can strengthen your pelvic floor while reducing pain and dysfunction. Come learn about the many benefits and educate yourself on pelvic floor physical therapy and see what it can do for you and yours. \nAbout the Presenters \nPT Solutions is a private physical therapy practice devoted to developing and using research proven treatments that restore patient wellness. Therapists specialize in advanced clinical treatment including spinal manipulation\, dry needling and focused soft tissue work. SUMMARY:Preventing Burnout at Work
DESCRIPTION:The World Health Organization called stress\, and the resulting burnout the “health epidemic of the 21st Century”. Join this workshop to learn what burnout is and what it isn’t and learn strategies to prevent and manage burnout symptoms and continue to be successful and productive. \nAbout the Presenter \nDianna Abilmona is a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Human Resources professional. A Northern Virginia native\, she attended Marymount University. After graduation\, it became clear to her—and others—that her spirit and skills shined when she connected with people and helped individuals. This realization translated into a long and successful career in Human Resources\, where she worked across industries\, from international hospitality brands to the renowned home furnishings company IKEA. \nAt IKEA\, Dianna held the role of People and Culture Manager\, overseeing the entire Human Resources division. She used basic coaching skills to enhance employee development\, improve performance\, and support various HR functions\, such as conflict resolution and communication. She also became very familiar with burnout and stress and their impact on personal and professional performance. \nCommitted to enhancing her expertise through direct education\, Dianna recently completed a Health & Wellness Coaching Certification from Georgetown University in Washington\, D.C. She is now preparing to obtain the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaches certification by sitting for the exam at the end of this year. \nPLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS ON ZOOM.
