DESCRIPTION:Two keys to a successful interview are informational interviews and preparation for the organization or company. Informational interviews provide first-hand knowledge on careers\, organizational culture\, professional advice on career-related topics\, changes in professions\, companies to work for\, and so much more. There is no limit to the reasons to conduct an informational interview.\nGathering information about a prospective employer is another important step in effective interviewing. Employers and recruiters are impressed by candidates who have done their homework and have knowledge about the company. Using the internet to research the company’s website is a great place to start.\nThe more informed you are\, the more confident you will feel\, and it will improve your interview significantly. \nAbout the Presenter \nVera Teller\, Ph.D. is coach\, lecturer\, and author. She was on staff at California State University Dominguez Hills in the College of Business Administration and Public Policy and received the 2019 Catherine H.
