(DBT) Skills Group for Teens to Regulate Overwhelming Emotions

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) was developed by Marsha Linehan and is extraordinarily effective at helping people manage overwhelming emotions. DBT teaches 4 critically important skills that can reduce the size of emotional waves and help keep balance when emotions become overwhelming.

This structured virtual 6-week workshop is targeted towards teens (13-18) and inclusive to all genders and will focus on training for the following core skills: Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

Each session will introduce a new skill with time for practice and review with facilitators. Group members will be expected to practice skills on their own in order to review with facilitators at the following session.

Start Date: Mondays 2/7/22 (6-week-group)

Time: 7PM – 8PM

Cost: $50 Total
