2019 Leadership Conference

“IT STARTS WITH US”

This year’s Conference theme – “It Starts with Us” – is significantly poignant today locally, nationally and globally. It is vital that we assess our compassionate and civic strengths, honing them for the betterment of workplaces and our community.   A respectful culture and equity in all aspects of life require each of us to look inside and reach for a better world. Currently, society is not allowing space for human error; we have lost the ability to give people the benefit of doubt, to understand differences and more significantly, we have lost the ability to disagree humanely. The 33^rd Conference will evaluate the attributes that can work to combat discord; re-instating thoughtfulness, respect, and compassion in our intentions and daily interactions. Main-stage discussions, the Leadership Forum and several of the concurrent breakout sessions will address how our leadership can make a difference at this critical time.
